Michael A. Hisick, 40 of Westville passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017 at home. He was born March 21, 1977 in Hobart to James J. and Beverly (Crownover) Hisick, Sr.  Michael is survived by his son Michael Hisick, II of Westville, his father and stepmother James and Marcina Hisick of Valparaiso, his mother Beverly Crownover of LaPorte, his brothers James (Candace) Hisick II of LaPorte and John (Geni) Hisick of LaPorte and his grandmother Patsy Crownover of Estill Springs, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his son Christian Ray, his brother Kevin Hisick, his maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.  Michael was employed as a machinist at Aero Machine in Valparaiso. Funeral services will be at 5:00 PM on Monday, September 11th at 5:00 PM at Newhard Funeral Home, 58 W. Walnut St. in Westville. Pastors Pete Fleming and Tom Potter will officiate. Visitation will be Monday from 3-5 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Westville Cemetery.
