Ronald L. Wozniak, 85 of LaPorte, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017 in LaPorte.  He was born October 21, 1932 in Michigan City to Albert and Lillian (Rudiewicz) Wozniak. On April 11, 1953 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Otis, he married Julia Ardeel who passed away April 23, 2001. Ronald is survived by his sons James (Darilyn) Wozniak and Richard (Molly) Wozniak both of LaPorte, Robert (Colleen) Wozniak of Chelsea, Oklahoma, David (Kim) Wozniak of Virginia Beach, Virginia, his five grandchildren Nicole, Christina, Jeff, Caty, and Amy and his great grandchildren Cameron, Kaylee, and Jude. His two sisters Claudette Warnke of Muskego, Wisconsin and Patricia (Ron) Rogowski of Mission Viejo, California survive him also. Ronald worked at Allis Chalmers in LaPorte and later for Waterford Tool and Die. In 1985 he started his own business, Wozniak Tool and Die. Ronald was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Thursday, December 7th at St. Mary Catholic Church in Otis. Rev. Mick Kopil will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Otis.  Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3-7 PM with vigil prayer services 3:30 PM at Newhard Funeral Home, 58 W.
