Wallace Sellers, 81, of Union Mills, passed away on July 6, 2016, at his residence. Wallace was born on February 4, 1935 in Union Mills, to Norman Clare and Arlene (Barr) Sellers, who preceded him in death. On February 4, 1967, in Hanna, he married Faye Louise Rinker, who preceded him in death on February 20, 2004. Wallace worked as a truck driver for LaPorte Transit before his retirement. He also served in the U.S. Army. Wallace was a member of the Masonic Lodge #532 in Union Mills and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, watching the Cubs, and mowing his yard. He is survived by his two children, Norman (Kim) Sellers of Wakarusa and Melissa (Brad) Schmitt of Noblesville. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren. Visitation for Wallace will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM CST at Newhard Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at 11:00 AM CST, at Hanna United Methodist Church in Hanna.  Memorial donations may be made to the Hanna United Methodist Church, 101 W Hopper St, Hanna, IN 46340.
