Lee D. Davis, 71 of Wanatah, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024 in Valparaiso. He was born November 7, 1952 in Harlingen, Texas to Frank and Irma (Kimble) Davis. On February 2, 2002 he married Judi Davis who survives. Lee is also survived by his daughters Michelle (Aaron) Crumm, Jessyca (Tom) Borchers and Keri (Brian) Whitcomb; stepdaughters Julie (Jordon) Houn and Trisha (Matt) Camp; grand children Isabelle Evelynne and Phillip Crumm and Nathaniel and Josephine Whitcomb. His sisters Gale (late husband Raymond) Kennedy and Eileen (Roger) Lutz. He was preceded in death by his parents. Lee was a union electrician working out of IBEW Local 531. He was a Vietnam Era U.S. Air Force veteran. Lee was a member of the Westville American Legion Post 21 and the VFW Post in Michigan City. He was a 1971 Westville High School graduate and loved to fish. A luncheon and gathering for Lee will be from 1-3 PM at the American Legion in Westville just prior to the visitation with Lee’s family from 3-5 PM on Thursday, February 1st at Newhard Funeral Home in Westville. The family has asked that memorials be made to the VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso.
