Patricia Ann Shores

Patricia Ann Shores, 79, of Westville, passed away on January 23, 2024.  She was born to JC and Mildred (Gubbine) Miller on September 21, 1944, in Michigan City.  In 1966 she married Kenneth Wayne Shores Sr. who preceded her.  They had one son Kenneth Wayne (Kimberly) Shores Jr. who survives. Also surviving 6 grandchildren, Stephanie (Dan) Armstrong , Jacob Shores, Christina Walker, Gage Fennell, Kaven Shores, 9 great grandchildren,  four sisters Jayne(Bob) Bulger, Susan Maupin, Karen Miller, Sharon Miller and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents, Granddaughter Caitlyn Fennell, sisters, Lillian Stone, Nancy Juckett, nephew Robert J Bulger.  She loved spending time with family, grandchildren and her 9 great grandchildren. She loved watching football; her favorite team was Notre Dame, devoted many years to 4H. Patricia, worked at US Steel and MC Plastics for 27 years; 10 years at Westville School, and 6 years at Jason‘s Recycling.  She will be dearly missed.  

Visitation will be on Sunday January 28, 2024 at Newhard Funeral Home from 1:00pm – 4:00 pm, and on Monday on January 29th at 10:00am till time of service.  Funeral Service will be on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Newhard Funeral Home at 11:00am with Pastor Jaime Constant officiating. Burial will be at Pinhook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to 4H in her memory.
