Chuck lives in Valparaiso and is married to his loving wife Dianna. They have two daughters, Christine,and Ella. He attended Ball State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and minored in philosophy. Chuck has been a licensed funeral director for many years and also is coroner for Porter County.
Chuck belongs to the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, and Sons of the American Legion.
Alice has been doing pre-planning consultations with families for over 20 years, helping them to make difficult decisions before the need arises.
Her specialties include discussing affordable options involving payment plans to suit anyone's needs.
Alice is married to Jerry Kyle and has three children and three grandchildren. She is available to meet with those who would like to discuss their funeral options ahead of time which can be done at our funeral home or in the families' home if preferable.

Michael Newhard is the owner of the Newhard Funeral Home in Westville and Bartholomew Funeral Home in Valparaiso. He purchased the Westville chapel from J.K. Weaver in January of 1989 and the Valparaiso chapel from C. Robert Bartholomew in August of 1997.
He graduated from Valparaiso High School, attended Indiana University, and graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Science. Michael currently resides with his family in Valparaiso. He is a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the Westville Lions Club. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Terri, and his two sons, Kyle and Christopher.
Jim and his wife Kathy, reside in Westville. He joined the staff at Newhard Funeral Home in December of 2014. Jim was served as Westville Town Marshall for 15 years before retiring in 2015. and was in law enforcement for 40 years. In his spare time, Jim enjoys wood working from his home and spending time with his family.
