George Mathews Obituary

George Edward Mathews, 73, of Westville, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019. He was born April 8, 1945 in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania to James Oran and Wanda Virginia (Miller) Mathews. George is survived by his son Jeffrey Mathews of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, his daughter Vicki Mathews of LaPorte, granddaughters Kylie and Kaitlyn, and several brothers and sisters. In 2002, he retired from Bethlehem Steel where he was a crew chief. Graveside services will take place on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11:00AM at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso. Pastor Craig Forwalter will officiate. Newhard Funeral Home in Westville is in charge of arrangements.
