Heather (Hufstedler) Hooper

Heather (Hufstedler) Hooper, 33, of LaPorte, passed away on May 4, 2019 in Crown Point.  She was born on September 11, 1985, in Fridley, Minnesota, to James and Karen (Hurley) Hufstedler.  She married Lawerance Hooper.  Heather worked as a medical records supervisor for Signature Health Care in South Bend.  She enjoyed spending her time working puzzle books and doing needlepoint.  Heather is survived by; her mother, daughter Madison Hooper, step-son Bailey Hooper, sister Melissa (Steve) Born of LaPorte, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends.  She was preceded in death by her father and brother Joshua Hufstedler.  A visitation will take place on Friday, May 10, 2019, at Newhard Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the donor’s choice.
