Helen B. Mason, 93 of Union Mills, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017.  She was born November 20, 1923 in England. Helen is survived by her children Jeanette (Henry) Tolson of North Judson and Erma (Mark) Ruetz of Michigan City, her grandchildren Christopher Gaddy of Union Mills and Elizabeth Meyer of DeMotte; and her sister Peggy Prior of England.  She was preceded in death by her son Clyde and her parents.  Helen was a member of the Union Baptist Church in Union Mills.  She was retired from Inland Steel after working there for 30 years and was a dental hygienist while serving in the Royal Airforce.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 10th at the Union Baptist Church, 705 Hamilton St. in Union Mills.  Pastor Matthew Campbell will officiate.  Burial will be in Union Mills Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4-7 PM on Tuesday at the church.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Union Baptist Church in memory of Helen. Newhard Funeral Home in Westville is in charge of arrangements.
