James B. Shreves, Jr.

James B. Shreves, Jr. 71, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at Porter Hospital. He was born May 23, 1946, in Lafayette, Indiana to James B. Sr. and Alice (Linback) Shreves. On August 16, 1969, he married Mary Ann Ladyga, who preceded him in death on May 20, 2010. He is survived by his loving children: Stacey Sensing of LaPorte, James B. (Gabrielle) Shreves III of LaPorte, Jason (Jennifer Patla) Shreves of Westville, Erin (Lin) Viou of Union Mills, Joshua (Jennifer) Shreves of Rochester, MN. and Adam Shreves of LaPorte, 20 grandchildren, 5 great -grandchildren and eight sisters and spouses. James was a US Navy Veteran and a Training Coordinator with Christian Haven Homes. Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Noon at the Newhard Funeral Home in Westville, Pastor Randy Schrock will officiate. Burial will be private at a later date. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until time of services on Saturday. Memorials can be made to his family.
