Jerilynn Rae Lesley, 73, of Michigan City, passed away on May 8, 2017, at her home.  She was born on December 7, 1943, in Wanatah, to Howard and Irene Cromey, who preceded her in death.  On December 30, 1969, she married Thomas G. Lesley, who survives.  Jerilynn volunteered many years at Pine Elementary School along with a few other places.  She is survived by her son John Lesley of La Porte, and sister Barbara Cromey of La Porte.  She was preceded in death by son Scott Lesley, and sister Janet Cummings.  A memorial gathering will take place on Thursday, May 11, 2017, from 3:00 – 6:00 PM, at Newhard Funeral Home in Westville.
