You are a treasure so precious and rare,
Always showing how much you care.

You see the beauty in all those around,
Your insight and love will always abound.

Slow to anger, so humble, so meek,
Qualities of our Lord we all should seek.

I will carry your light in my heart forevermore; for you, Uncle John, I GREATLY adore!!!

I worked with John for many decades, and in all that time I never heard anyone say anything about John in anger. John was a hard worker who seldom ever complained and was well liked by all who knew him. He will be miss by everyone am sure of that. So young, I can't under stand why the good die so young.
Thoughts and prayers to his family.

Well, my Sweet, WONDERFUL Uncle, my heart was shattered today when we got the call that you had fallen asleep. But, that's okay because it just shows how much love you shared with all of those who knew you. You were such an inspiration to me, Uncle John, and made me see how to recognize the beauty in everything and the qualities in everyone that make us unique. You could always bring me out of any kind of bad mood I may have been and make me cry with uncontrollable laughter! :-) I love you more than words can express! You will be desperately missed by all here until our Dear Lord's return.
