William Dean Keel, 94, of Michigan City, formerly of Westville, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018.  He was born October 5, 1923 in Washington Township, Indiana to Roy and Emma (Frier) Keel.  On November 25, 1943 in Westville, he married Sadie Lucille Keel who passed away December 24, 2015.  Dean is survived by his son Howard Keel of LaPorte, his daughters Lola (John) Kreinheder of Medina, Ohio, and Kathleen (Neal, deceased) Hagenow of Michigan City; six grandchildren, Kurt Kreinheder, David Kreinheder, Mark Keel, Daina Krueger, Rachel Harting, and Sarah Lenson; 10 great grandchildren, Shelby, Kyle, Patrick, Taylor, Samuel, Bryce, Carrissa, Haley, Reagan, Kellen, and one great great grandson Emmett. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Roy Keel, Jr. and Earl Keel.  Dean was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Westville and was a Fuel Oil and Gasoline Supplier for Keel Oil Company for over 30 years. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 16th at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 234 W. Division Rd. in Valparaiso.  Visitation will be on Sunday 2-5 PM at Newhard Funeral Home, 58 Walnut St. in Westville and Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the church.  Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Dean to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
