Alice J. (Beaty) Woodruff

Alice J. Woodruff, 77 of Westville, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021. She was born October 2, 1943 in Utica, Mississippi to Oscar and Ruby (Malone) Beaty. On May 25, 1970 she married Daniel L. Woodruff, Sr. who survives. Alice is also survived by eight children Sherry (Jeff) Amor, Barb (Todd) Miller, Joe (Maggie) Metts, Brady (Karen) Metts, Cindy (Dennis) Kreske, Wendy Woodruff, Valerie Houghton, and Danny J. Woodruff, Jr., Mark Woodruff; three sisters JoAnn Metts, Glenda Wienkauff, Dean Tarpley and one brother Charles (Nancy) Beaty, many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one son, Steve Woodruff and one daughter, Brenda Woodruff, her parents, two brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Friday, April 23, at the Crossroads Baptist Church, 10027 W. 1000 S. in Wanatah. Pastor John Stalions will officiate. Burial will be in Hanna Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 5-7 PM at Newhard Funeral Home, 58 W. Walnut St. in Westville.
