On August 10, 1957, she married Earl Robert Keel who preceded her in death on March 2, 2008. Carol was a loving mother to her children, Terri (David) Funkhouser of Westville and her son Michael (Janifer) Keel of Valparaiso, she was a loving sister to Nancy Erickson of Tucson, Arizona, and devoted grandmother of Katie (Herman) Hendricks of Wanatah, Wesley (Monica) Coulter of Westville, Robert, Heather, Nathan, and Nicholas Keel of Valparaiso, and 3 great-grandchildren.
