Carol R. (Knepp) Ohman

Carol R. Ohman, 75 of Union Mills, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at home. She was born November 11, 1945 in McVeytown, Pennsylvania to Harry and Stella (Adams) Knepp. On November 23, 1963 in LaPorte, she married Carl Ohman who passed away July 28,1997. Carol is survived by her daughters Annette (Dan) VanSchoyck of Union Mills and Sandra (Todd) Anson of LaPorte; her grandchildren Chelsea (Zack Campbell) Anson, Todd (Ashlyn) Anson, Caitlin (Kaden Fox) Anson, Heather (Marcos) Aguilar; nine great grandchildren Audrey Anson, Gracie Anson, Brody Anson, Ellie Anson, Harper Anson, Layla Fox, Gabriella Aguilar, Mia Aguilar, and Oliver Aguiar; and one sister Jean Bilger of Pennsylvania. In addition to her husband, Carol was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Barbara Ochua, and her brothers Butch and Donnie; and stepfather Leslie Hunnicutt. She was a member of the Hanna Lutheran Church and the Union Mills Legion Post #295 Ladies Auxiliary. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 24th at Newhard Funeral Home, 58 W. Walnut St. in Westville. Pastor Toby Guill and family friend Jan Buchanan will officiate. Burial will be in Union Mills Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
