Carol Ann Rotzien

Carol Ann Rotzien, 78 of Westville passed away Friday, November 6, 2020 at Franciscan Hospital in Michigan City. She was born April 15, 1942 in LaPorte, Indiana to Kenneth and Hazel (Castleman) Hilton. Carol married Thomas Rotzien, who preceded her in death in 2001, in the town of LaPorte. Also preceeding her in death are her brother Robert Hilton and her son Jeff Rotzien. She is survived by her children James Rotzien and Lori Fagg both of Westville. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren Ryan Rotzien, Amie Rotzien, Austin Tolson, Abigail Rotzien, Alexandria Rotzien, Lucas Rotzien, and Katie Fagg of Westville, as well as one great grandchild, Hazel Muhlfellner of Valparaiso. Carol was retired from the town of Westville where she worked for 34 years as town clerk. She was also a member of the United Methodist Church and at one time served with the women’s auxiliary at the Fire Department. Visitation will be Wednesday November 11, 2020 from 4-7 PM at Newhard Funeral Home in Westville, IN. Funeral Services will be November 12, 2020 at 10 AM also at Newhard Funeral Home, Pastor Toby presiding.
