Sarah,
You and all of Cathy's family and friends are in our prayers. I was so sorry to learn of her passing. My husband and I are members of West Point United Methodist Church where your mother pastored a few years ago. She was a very special lady and pastor, so very dedicated to the Lord and His work. She will always hold a special place in my heart as she ministered to my Uncle as he was dying from cancer. He was never one to go to church and so many of our family had tried to change that through the years, unsuccessfully. He really liked your Mom and she visited him faithfully and she was very instrumental in his salvation as he did give his life to the Lord. She also baptized my brother, niece and sister-in-law, I will never forget after the Baptism she did her little "happy dance".
I actually met you at one of the Washington County Relay For Life Ceremonies at the Salem High School track when you were visiting your Mom. I and a member from Canton United Methodist Church were Co-Captains of the churches Relay Team. We missed your Mom when she left our church and we will now miss her due to her passing, but we will always have our good memories of her.

I am shocked at this news. Catherine and I, along with a friend of mine, ended up staying ,overnight at a conference near Dayton, Ohio a few years ago. She was so encouraging and always caring. I did not know her well, and have only known her for a few years, but, felt like I knew her for a long time. Such a sweet, sweet spirit! May God give her family comfort as they grieve. What a dear saint! God bless all of you.
