Obituary
LaVonn Louise (Aikman) Meyers, 81, of LaPorte, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. She was born on January 27, 1941 in LaPorte to James and Frances Aikman. On August 30, 1958 in LaPorte, LaVonn married Robert Meyers who survives. She is also survived by son Ron (Kayla) of Westville, daughter Deb(Dan) Lute of Logansport and daughter Tammy (Jeff) Goodwin of Wanatah, grandchildren Stella(Kevin) Swieboda, Richie Meyers, Doug (Courtni) Meyers, Amber (Darren) Allie, Erin (Travis) Smith, Jeremy (Elizabeth) Goodwin, Jordan Goodwin, and Jamilyn (Coty) Buchwalter, 10 great grandchildren. LaVonn is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Patricia and grandson Zachary Goodwin. LaVonn was a homemaker and attended Liberty Bible Church. She loved to travel, shop, play games and her “coca-cola”. She went to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s sporting events. Memorial donations may be made to the March of Dimes or Samaritan’s Purse. Private funeral services will be held.
