Lillie May Sewell

Lillie M. Sewell, 88, of Westville, IN, passed away Thursday, October 12th, 2023, peacefully at her home.  Lillie was born to Clarence and Josephine (Meadows) Williams on October 29th, 1934, in Mena, Arkansas. Lillie married the love of her life, Louis D. Sewell on June 09th, 1956, in Charleston, SC, who preceded her in death on September 12, 2023. Lillie was preceded by sister, Katherine and her brothers Jimmy, Robert, and Charles.  Lillie was a seamstress for many years, tour guide at Anderson Orchards.  She was an avid golfer, bowler, enjoyed fishing on Lake Okeechobee, and she was a huge motocross fan. She is survived by four children, Louis Sewell Jr. (Janyce), of Westville, IN, Cindy Sparacio (Michael), of Westville, IN, Terry Sewell of Clewiston, FL, and Tim Sewell of Westville, IN.  She is also survived by four grand children, Travis Sewell, Shane Sewell, Chase (Maggie) Sparacio, and Carly Sparacio, one great grandchild, Lillian Sparacio.  She was also loved by many cousins, great nieces, and great nephews.  There will be a visitation on Friday, November 03rd, from 3-7 p.m., at Newhard Funeral Home, in Westville IN.  A Memorial Service is scheduled immediately following visitation, at 7:00 p.m.  There will be a graveside service at Calvert City Cemetery, in Calvert City, Kentucky, on Monday, November 06th, at 10:00am.  There will also be a graveside service for her Husband, Louis Sewell, at Dees Cemetery, in Calvert City, Ky, Monday, November 06th, at 11:00 a.m. Newhard Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
