Obituary
Loretta Jane Scarborough, 83 of Union Mills, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022 in Valparaiso. She was born August 1, 1939, in LaPorte, Indiana to Wilbur and Elaine ( Perry) Lauderback. On June 14, 1958 she married David M Scarborough Sr. who preceded her on February 14, 2019. Surviving are her children David Scarborough, Jr., Lorri (Glen) Johnson, Joan (Tracy) Kirby, Judy (Don) Ellis, 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; her sister Rosedale Pace of South Bend, She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sheryl (Ken) Hyde, 2 brothers William and Clifford Lauderback. Loretta was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Wanatah. Visitation will be at the Newhard Funeral Home on Thursday Oct. 13 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with services to follow. Rev. Glen Johnson will be officiating. Burial will be in Union Mills Cemetery. Newhard Funeral Home in Westville is in charge of arrangements.
