Madeline (Allen) Tetzloff

Madeline Tetzloff, 87, of Michigan City, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2022.  She was born on February 18, 1934, in Kentucky, to Newton and Lillian (Wireman) Allen.  In 1951 she married her longtime husband Roger L. Tetzloff. Madeline enjoyed working in her garden and will always be remembered for her incredible work ethic around the family home.  She is survived by her children Ricky (Kay) Tetzloff of Westville, Randall (Linda) Tetzloff of LaCrosse, Dawn Lynn Green of Michigan City, and Anthony Tetzloff of Michigan City.  She is also survived by her siblings Amos Allen, Sallie Tibbs, James Allen, and Bertha Todd; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.  Madeline is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Steven Tetzloff, and siblings Albert Allen, Christine Woodard, Susie Dickinson, and Rex Allen.  A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 9:00 AM until the time of service at Newhard Funeral Home in Westville.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Newhard Funeral Home with Pastor Toby Guill officiating.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.  The family also request that all visitors please wear a mask if attending.
