Nadine Faye Klimczyk

Nadine Faye (Berry) Klimczyk, 87 of Westville, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021. She was born September 4, 1933 in Arkansas. Nadine was a mother of 10. She had so many grandchildren, too many to mention. She was loved by many. Her favorite things were playing Bingo, Yahtzee and going to the casino to play the slots. Nadine loved to fish with her husband Gerald Klimczyk who passed away nine years ago. She spent her last days doing crossword puzzles, going to rummage sales and visiting with her children. She was a happy person who didn’t need much from this world. We will all love her way until the next. On June 21, 1963 in East Gary she married Gerald K. Klimczyk who passed away on November 16, 2012. Nadine is survived by her children Kathy (Dave) Ponda, Gayle Chappo, Jeff Szybala, Greg Krok, Robin (Kevin) McKenna, Sherry (Tim) Buckner, Bob (Christina) Klimczyk, Julie (Danny) Miller, Karen (Steve) Gemo, and Kim (Don) Emerson; 38 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; and her brothers Jerry and Ronnie Berry. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents Rowden and Gladys (Ehrenfeld) Berry her sisters Jannie Krok and Diane Morganson; and her brother Joe Ehrenfeld. Services will take place at 4:00 PM Friday, July 30th at Newhard Funeral Home, 58 W. Walnut St. in Westville. Pastor Mac McElhaney will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM on Friday until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family.
