Bob had a love for life and touched countless lives. He never met a stranger and was genuinely interested in those with whom he interacted. He generously offered compliments and was rarely seen without a smile on his face. He had a great love for his family. Bob graduated from Westville High School where he set records running cross-country. He served in the U.S. Army and spent many years on his beloved family farm near Westville. He was the founder and co-owner of the plat book company Town and Country Publishing Company in LaPorte. Later in life, he obtained his real estate license and had a hand in building several neighborhoods in the LaPorte area for over 20 years. He loved helping his clients housing dreams come true.

Bob enjoyed many things, but what he enjoyed most was spending time with his friends and family. His passions included harness horse racing, playing cards, watching football, and meeting new people. Often, you could find him enjoying a meal at his favorite restaurant, Christo’s. Bob was never shy of hard work and was always available to help others.
