Ruby N. (Hudson) White

Ruby N. White, 95 of Westville passed away peacefully in her sleep, Wednesday, August 19, 2020 in LaPorte.  She was born December 25, 1924 in McHenry, Kentucky to Owen and Jesse (Baize) Hudson. On October 31, 1942 she married O.S. White, Jr. who passed away April 1, 1983.  Ruby is survived by her children Sandy Horsley of Louisville, Kentucky, Bruce White of Westville, Sheila Storck (Don) of Cincinnati, Ohio and John White of Tucson, Arizona; eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. In addition to her husband, Ruby was preceded in death by her two sisters, one brother and a great granddaughter. Ruby is a member of the Westville United Methodist Church. She spent many years volunteering with friends at the UMC Resale Shop in Westville and also worked at the Westville U.S. Post Office before retiring from there. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Westville Cemetery with private graveside services attended by her immediate family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Westville United Methodist Church. Newhard Funeral Home in Westville is in charge of arrangements.
