Sharry Ann (Wigent) Pearson

Sharry Ann Pearson, 78 of Michigan City, passed away Friday, April 24, 2020. She was born February 19, 1942 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Lawrence and Marjorie (Schieber) Wigent.  Sharry is survived by her son Greg (Michelle) Pearson of LaPorte, her brothers Ron (Gloria) Wigent of Michigan City, Larry (Sue) Wigent of Valparaiso, her sister Kris (Mike) Card of Montgomery, Illinois, and her ex-husband Paul Pearson of Westville. She was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Pearson, her parents, her brother Charles and her stepmother Mary Jane Wigent. Sharry was a retired nurse from St. Anthony Hospital in Michigan City.  Private family visitation and services are being held. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Place of final rest will be at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Newhard Funeral Home, 58 W. Walnut St. Westville. Memorial contributions can be made to the Mental Health Association, 402 Indiana Ave., Valparaiso IN 46383 or Heart to Heart Hospice, 402 Wall St. Suite 22, Valparaiso, IN 46383.  Newhard Funeral Home in Westville is in charge of arrangements.
