Obituary

Vayle J. Hunt 78 of Westville, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023 in Valparaiso. She was born March 20, 1945 in Valparaiso to Herman Roland and Deloras Arlene (Snyder) Hoeg. On July 11, 1964 she married Donnie F. Hunt. Sr. who passed away April 12, 2014. Vayle is survived by her children Angela Caddell of Westville, Donnie Hunt Jr., Christopher Scott Hunt of Indianapolis, Lori Mercer of Westville and Lisa (Michael) Albert of Westville; her five grandchildren Brett, Kelly Tommy (Holly), Aaron, and Brady and one great grandchild. Vayle with her husband co-owned Hunt’s Maintenance and Excavating. Private family services are being held. Place of final rest will be in Graceland Cemetery. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
